ORDERS AND REFUNDS

  • How do I access to my purchase?
If you purchased through this shop, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing a link to download a PDF file (the one that says 'Your files are ready to download'). This link is valid for 30 days, so I recommend you to save that PDF in order to access all your planner files whenever you need to. Just open the PDF file and click the link to download/save your planners, stickers and instructions. If you purchased through the Etsy shop, you will get access to the PDF file at anytime from the e-mail received after completing the online order, or from the 'Purchases and Reviews' section of your Etsy account (desktop version). After opening it, click the link from the PDF file to download/save your planners, stickers and instructions.
  • What if I lose my purchased files?
If you purchased through this shop, and saved the PDF file (the one that says 'Your files are ready to download'), just open it and click the link again to re-download some or all your purchased files. If you purchased through this shop, but didn't save the PDF document (the one that says 'Your files are ready to download'), and lost your digital files, go to the confirmation e-mail you received after completing the online order and click the link on it to redownload everything. That link is valid for 30 days from the moment you receive it, so if you cannot use it after those days, just get in touch so I can resend the link to you. If you purchased through the Etsy shop, you will get access to the PDF file (the one that says 'Your files are ready to download') at any time from the confirmation e-mail received after completing the online order, or from the 'Purchases and Reviews' section of your Etsy account (desktop version). After opening it, click the link from the PDF to download/save your planners, stickers and instructions again.
  • Can I refund my order anytime?
Please take in consideration that due to the nature of digital products and instant downloads, all sales are final, therefore refunds cannot be offered. However, if you have a problem with your order, please notify me as soon as possible and I will do my best to find a solution.
  • Will I receive anything in the mail?
At this time all of my items are in digital form, so no physical items will be shipped.
  • What is a digital planner?
A digital planner is a PDF document used on a note-taking app and that is designed to emulate a physical planner experience but on a mobile device such as a tablet with a stylus. It contains hyperlinks that help you to navigate to certain pages as if you were 'flipping' papers. Digital planners are highly customizable; the advantages are that you can handwrite, type, add pages, digital stickers, photos etc., and you can easily erase/duplicate any change made. Since it is a digital file, you can carry it around on your devices, and this also helps the environment by saving some trees.
  • What do I need to start digital planning?
To start digital planning you will need: Hardware: a tablet/phone with a stylus (regarding screen sizes, I recommend a tablet/iPad). Software: A PDF annotation app that allows markups, the use of hyperlinks and that is compatible with your device’s operating system. A digital planner.
  • What Apps do you recommend?
There are several options to choose from. Some of the annotation apps are paid applications, which means a separate cost to you, but there are good and free options as well. You can find them on your device app store. Some of the apps: iPadOS/iOS/MacOS Android Note: GoodNotes is coming for Samsung Android tablet users in 2023 (they are working on the beta version)* Microsoft Note: GoodNotes is coming for Windows users in 2023* My favourite one for Apple devices is GoodNotes5, therefore the instructions and tutorials I offer are based on this annotation app (paid app). One big advantage is that it can be synced across your Apple devices (iPad, iPhone, iMac). For Android users I recommend Samsung Notes (free app) and Penly (paid app).
  • I haven't tried digital planning before. How will I know if this product is for me?
If you haven't tried digital planners before, I recommend you to download my free planner and use it for sometime to see if this is something you would like to continue using. Free planners are a very basic version of my other digital planners, but they contain basic templates with hyperlinks that will allow you to test the compatibility with your device. You can also sign up on the Freebies Club to download free digital stickers to use on your planner.
  • Do I have to purchase a planner every year?
As long as you get an undated version of my planners, you can reuse it over and over again, simply make sure: Save the PDF file you got once completing your online order (the one that says 'Your files are ready to download'). That PDF document contains the link to access all your planner files and it doesn't expire, so you can reuse it every time you need to. Or open the link of the same PDF and save the digital files in your device or cloud storage service once completed your purchase, and then create a copy of the planner before starting using it, that way you will always have the original unused. Then create a new copy every year. Important If you purchased through this shop: you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing the link to download the PDF file. This link is valid for 30 days. Remember to save that PDF so you can access all your planner files unlimited times. If you purchased through Etsy shop: you will get access to the PDF file at any time from the 'Purchases and Reviews' section of your Etsy account (desktop version) and from the e-mail received after completing the online order. On the other hand, dated planners won't update automatically, so in this case you would need to get a new dated or undated planner for the following year. These planners include undated templates that allow you to extend the use of the planner for some time, but hyperlinks won't work for any template that is related to calendars pages.
  • How do I import my planner on my device?
These instructions were made based on GoodNotes annotation app with an iPad, but the process is very similar to the other apps/devices. Save and open the PDF file (the one that says 'Your files are ready to download') you got once the purchase was complete. Click the link on it and you will be redirected to an exclusive Google Drive folder that contains all your planner files. Download and/or save in your device or cloud storage service all the planner files Open the GoodNotes app on your iPad On the top left side of the screen underneath 'Documents' click the '+' that says 'New' Click 'Import' Browse to the folder where your file was saved Select the PDF file of the planner you will use There are 2 PDF files with step by step instructions to learn how to download and import your planners and digital stickers into GoodNotes. Find them in your exclusive Google Drive folder. Note: there are few ways to import your planner into GoodNotes app. Check out these tutorials for more options: How to Download and Import a Digital Planner into GoodNotes and How to Use the 2023 Nail Artist Digital Planner (between 2:26 and 6:15 min).
  • Can the planner sync across multiple devices?
Yes! Some apps like Goodnotes or Notability, can sync your planner across multiple Apple devices like iPhone, iPad and iMac, by using your cloud storage service. For Android and Microsoft devices, you can sync your planner with apps like Xodo. The PDF annotation app must be installed on your devices and supports syncing documents between them. You have to enable syncing through the settings on your app. To learn more about synchronization requirements and updates, please check the app’s website for more information. Alternatively, you may be able to back up your planners through iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive etc., and access it across different devices through your cloud storage service. I recommend this option only to be able to see from different devices what it is written on your planner, but please consider that if you decide to edit the planner, you would need to download, edit and save it again on the cloud storage, that way, the planner is up to date whenever you access it from any device.
  • Is there a way to get the planners to work on a desktop computer?
Definitely! Download any pdf annotation app that is compatible with your device operating system to access and edit your planner. GoodNotes and Xodo are some of the popular apps used with desktop computers.
  • Why I can't click my tabs?
Most PDF annotation apps have a read and write (editing) mode. Specifically to be able to use the hyperlinks on your planner (click on tabs, calendars, etc.) with GoodNotes5, you need to turn off the Editing Mode by tapping the icon that has a pen with a diagonal line on top (top right corner of the screen), this way you will be switching to Read Mode that will allow you navigate your planner through the use of hyperlinks. Click on this icon to turn off Editing Mode Note: to make sure you turned off editing mode, simply check if you still see the toolbar (where you find the pen, eraser, shapes tool, photos, etc.). If you don't see it anymore, it means you are on Read-only Mode and now you can use the links. Once you are ready to edit your planner, click the same icon again (now it will look like a pen drawing a circle) and the editing toolbar will appear again, now you are ready to write, draw, highlight, add stickers, etc.
  • Does the digital planner send me alerts of events?
Unfortunately, no. Digital planners emulate the experience of using a paper planner but on your tablet; it is a PDF file so this means calendar alerts or reminders won't pop up when using it.
  • Can I add my own tabs with hyperlinks to the digital planners?
Unfortunately planner files already published are not editable. This is because when designing a digital planner, all hyperlinks are added to the first files and not to the final versions which are in PDF format. Nevertheless, you could 'rename' a tab and change its template by inserting a new one to the page linked to the tab. Let's 'erase' the original name! Go to the page that has visible the tab you want to rename and take a screenshot. Crop the image until you get a small rectangle containing only the colour of the tab you will modify and save it to your gallery. On your planner, click the Photo tool to add that cropped image from step 1. Cover the original name of the tab you want to rename by adjusting the rectangle's length and width. Using 'Text' or 'Pen' tools, type or handwrite the new name for the tab. Now, add a new template to the page that is linked to the tab you just changed. Now you should have a tab with another title and since the hyperlink won't stop working, you can click on it and this will lead you to the page that contains the new template you just added. On the other hand, you can definitely add links from websites. To do this, copy the URL from your internet browser and copy it on your planner or simply drag and drop it to any part/page of your digital planner. You can also add external links to your handwriting and text boxes: While editing a text box, select the text you want to link to a URL. Tap Link. Change the URL in the "Link To" field. Tap outside the popover to save it. The linked text will be underlined with dashes. To open the link: On read mode, tap the linked text and you will see a pop up for an external link, click 'Yes'. If you are in editing mode, tap the linked text while using the Text tool or long-press on it. Then tap 'Open Link' and 'Open'.
  • Is there a limit on digital stickers, photos and new pages I can add to my digital planner?
No, there is no limit for adding extra pages and other decorative elements, however, if you add too many and depending on your device memory capacity, it could affect the performance of your digital planning experience.
  • Can I add custom fonts to GoodNotes app to use on my digital planner?
Yes! You can download your favourite fonts and install them on your iPad. There are several websites and apps with free fonts for personal use where you can find some cool ones. Instructions to download and install fonts are included on my digital planners.
  • What tools do you use for digital planning?
My favourite combination is iPad Pro 12.9 inch. GoodNotes6 app Apple Pencil Apple Pencil anti-slip silicone cover My digital planner
  • My tabs aren’t linked correctly, what do I do?
Probably this happened because you may have accidentally deleted one of the original pages of your digital planner. One solution is to go to your GoodNotes trash bin to figure out if the page is there to recover it. Once done, it will be relocated automatically on your planner in the original position. Tap on the GoodNotes settings icon Select 'Trash Bin' Locate the page accidentally deleted and click the arrow next to it Click 'Recover' and then 'Done' If this doesn't work, I'd recommend to download again a clean copy of your planner, then copy-paste the entries from the old file to the new one. To prevent this issue in the future, make sure not to delete original pages.
  • My planner is loading slowly, what do I do?
My planners are designed to be lag-free, so this might be an issue with your app or device. Try restarting the app you are using the planner on, restarting your device, and/or clearing your device storage. Your storage may be almost at full capacity so it’s keeping the app you are using from running smoothly.
